The only way I’ll get to listen to the new music posted on this thread is to make a playlist for the car. So here is the second one for anyone who wants it, all nominated tracks since the last one I posted

Just noticed that Tindersticks have a new album out, Soft Tissue.

Just put it on, as always pretty restrained and thoughtful, including an interesting take on Northern Soul. Time will tell but feels like it'll be a good addition to his catalogue.

Joe and the Shitboys - the reason for hardcore vibes III. Short, sharp, punchy and fun

The new Hamish Hawk album A Firmer Hand is interesting too. A bit, if Leonard Cohen had a love child with Depeche Mode.

Hamish Hawk has built up a good body of work now and this is a good addition.

Yeah I think he has gone under the radar a bit. But has had some really good stuff over the last 8-10 years. The new album is very very good, on multiple listens.

Definitely got a Disintegration era vibe going on but all the better for it
