New Nike Kit 13/14? (Merged)

i will be truly gutted if this seasons shirt turns out to be awful, at least we knew where we stood with umbro shirts and could expect a decent quality shirt, both looks wise and comfort. you never know what you're going to get with nike

Probably because Umbro didnt have a vast client list compared to Nike. Umbro could have a small set of templates each year to supply kits to their clubs, where as Nike has a lot more, need more templates, so some will be hit and miss.

Some think when with Umbro, we had 'exclusively' designed kits. When in fact we shared them with Blackburn, England, Southampton etc. So its the same with Nike, some templates might be ours, some wont be. Thats why there's more 'faked' Nike kits, cos there is more templates out there to randomly think, "oh ... this could be the next City shirt."

But tbh ... i dont think i'm going to like the new Home shirt. May as well get the French shirt and replace the badge with a City Badge, then i'll have something that i'll like.

I think (well hope) that this years kits will be okay - it being the first launch and all that. Longer term - i.e. from next year! we'd best brace ourselves because safe for a few exceptions Nike gear is pretty nasty and cheap looking on the whole.

Well actually we used to get the kit for a season ourselves and then they would use it as a template that is for certain with the home kits. Other kits just seemed to be slightly rehashed England kits

IF it is that laser blue white sleeve rubbish then we should boycott Nike and not buy this shirt. It shows total disregard and disrespect to the club and the fans to just make this up. Probably took 5 minutes for some minimum wage poverty-ridden single mum to come up with it. And they want to charge upwards of £50 for it? Not for me, don't agree with it

There was someone on this thread a month ago that was saying our kit would look like arsenals only in blue of course and I think arsenals kit next season is similar to the one shown so who knows?! It's not horrible, just very different to the one that's been on here for months so it might take some getting used to. We're apparently going to be playing in the new kit for the Chelsea games so there's not that long to wait.

The other shirt looks like a training top to me but who knows!

I'd go as far as to say that if that was our new shirt, it would be the worst one in history.

City with white sleeves is just wrong

and it's the wrong fucking colour.

The other home shirt with the embroidered badge plus the navy one with the stripe and I think we'll have done really well out of Nike.

There was a guy on here who said it would just look like arsenal's kit but blue. He was right

The kit that has been widely tipped to be our new one is so boring its untrue. I said i wouldn't buy one this year, but if it's this latest one with the v neck and white sleeves i would have to get it, i think it is stunning.

It would also piss loads of people off on here, which is always fun.
