New PL financial controls | Clubs agree squad spending cap 'in principle'

I've already said above, La Liga has fucked itself with its financial controls. So it's madness that the PL would want to introduce their own.
La Liga who will most likely produce the CL winner and will have Girona represent it next season has ‘fucked itself’?

Gonna need to see the workings there..

When the quality of the PL deteriorates so that clubs can not attract the best players, then watch the Financial Controls being altered yet again.

Teams will have to build bigger stadiums to increase revenues, selling tickets to day trippers.

Only really two teams with a shout of winning it and one of them is financially fucked.

Girona an anomaly.

Sky news pushing the narrative that Us (we had to be first) the rags and villa the only clubs to vote against it. Chelsea abstained

On paper it seems a really sensible proposal, but as with anything the success or failure will be in the details.

From a PL title perspective it likely solidifies City as champions for the foreseeable future so really people should be happy.

Have to make 43 million profit on sales then. I would be surprised if that is excluded.

We don't have to do anything - our wages are only that high because of treble winning bonuses.

We can't win a treble again this season so our wage bill will go down a lot.
