Has to be. Don’t see Inter letting Lukaku go and Ings not good enough. And age an issue with bothIngs and Lukaku must be a txiki double pivot smokescreen....

It may be just me with limited games I’m seen him play but I think he is not good enough for us. He would struggle with our team moving the ball quicker and needing to work a packed defence.Ings wouldn`t make any sense at all. He thrives in Southampton since they`re a defensive side and he has acres of space to run into and use his pace, something he wouldn`t be able to do here. Nothing from what I`ve seen from him would make me believe he`s a good fit here. His passing, dribbling and link up play look below par, and he`s injury prone and already 28. Hopefully just some smokescreen for another target
I've grown to rate The Athletic for the in depth analysis pieces (most of the time), but I don't trust anyone at all over there regarding transfer speculation relating to City.
Can you read? It says if we sign 2 strikers. There’s no way we’re replacing our best ever striker with 28 year old injury prone Danny Fucking Ings. Should be either Haaland or Jovic
Obviously if you add a load of wingers it will look like that. He's not signing a bunch of slow, strong, tall wingers... is he?This is the way.
Senior forwards signed by Guardiola as a manager:
Zlatan Ibrahimović
David Villa
Alexis Sánchez
Robert Lewandowski
Douglas Costa
Kingsley Coman
Leroy Sané
Gabriel Jesus
Nolito
Ferran Torres
Wity the exception of Ibra (which did not work out) and Lewa (who is one of the best center forwards of his generation), Pep has only signed technical, versatile, quick forwards. Ings and Lukaku don’t fit the bill even remotely

Centre-forwards:
Ibrahimović
Villa
Lewandowski
Jesus
50% of his striker signings are tall, strong, lethal target men.
Also some of the most technical, versatile, quick, talented strikers too. Henry, Gudjohnsen, Eto'o, Bojan, Nolito etc.Forwards that Pep has sold as a manager:
Samuel Eto’o
Eidur Gudjohnsen
Zlatan Ibrahimović
Thierry Henry
Bojan Krkic
Mario Gómez
Mario Mandzukić
Stevan Jovetić
Edin Džeko
Wilfried Bony
Nolito
Kelechi Iheanacho
Enes Ünal
Leroy Sané
A lot of traditional strikers shown the door

My opinion would be is there anyone else you have seen score tonight?I saw Harrison scored tonight. Could he play in our front 3 I wonder?
