Newcastle 1-1 City post match thread

I only have one question or our manager.
You said that our players should concentrate on the Premier league and not the CL. So why didn't you yourself do that?

If by ok you mean looking as comfortable with the ball at his feet as a Joleon Lescott would ...
He really scared me several times, thank god Mangala was not sleeping today.

By ok I refer only to his fitness.
His performance was.. well kind of what we could expect I guess. He needs game time to improve.

Or just maybe, he needs more time (after injury) to get up to pace. You find when you're not 100% you spend a lot of time
looking and trying to get hold of the ball, rather doing what should be habit.
You would have a point if he hadn't been doing it all season.

Team selection, formation and performance has reverted back to what it was a month ago. Let's hope that we improve going in to a huge week for us.

It sums up the season....inconsistency. A team allowed to grow too old together, not enough blooding of youth and a sprinkling of bad buys and injuries have given us this season. At odd times looking world beaters and others like mid table or worse dross. Sterling and Delph prove that English players are over priced and over rated. At least Sterling might improve and Delph only cost a pittance in today's market.

We went into this season too lightweight up front even if Bony had scored goals. What the young lad has to do to get a start over this lump I have no idea and that is one of the reasons I am glad to see the back of Pellegrini.

We scored and then we went in we've won mode. Yaya is the most frustrating footballer i have ever watched.
We drew a game that we looked half arsed. Like we couldn't give a shit but still come away with a point.
