Newcastle (A) Post-Match Thread

They played Oxford United and Rochdale.
Hardly the most testing of opponents.
But they got giddy and thought it was their year until City showed them the error of their ways.

1955 last time they won a major honour and it's supposedly a hotbed of football
I'd feel for them if they hadn't been such utter giddy pricks when John Hall was bankrolling them

I used to be envious of clubs like Norwich City, Oxford United, Millwall,Birmingham City,Portsmouth and Cardiff City who had all been to Wembley Finals and we couldn't get past a quarter final in those days.
As the BBC said Wembley is now the Etihad of the South.
Yeah, we both noticed that too.

If you go on their forums like Toontastic they think they are the best fans in the world. Complete deluded fuckers every last one of them.

Somewhere in Billy Elliot country, Dwight Gayles sitter has just landed back from outer space

48 goals and 14 assists in the last 61 games in which he's started suggests you are wrong
Some so-called City supporters amaze me.

What the fuck do they want?

We are lucky to have a still young lad, who is happy to play second fiddle to one of, if not the finest, strikers these shores have ever seen. He’s Brazil's No 9, for fuck's sake!
