He's probably thinking more about the mental strength, or lack of it, that saw us lose against a piss poor Norwich team, lose three times against the rags, throw away a two goal lead to lose at Wolves and fail to beat Newcastle in the Prem even though we were in front twice. The same mental strength we didn't have to win in Madrid?
Was that the last time those entitled twats beat us?Like a lot of people I was getting a little tired of the expense of semi finals at Wembley, but I'm gutted I can't be there to see the record put straight after the last time we met in this competition. Silva deliberately hacked out of the game and possibly the worst officiating ever witnessed at that stage of the FA Cup meant we were robbed of a place in the final. It's never nice to lose at Wembley but to lose out the way we did is something no team should suffer. No mention that Arsenal were drawn against last season's winners in the media so I doubt there will be any discussion about that fortunate Arsenal win last time we met.
Sterling was top drawer today. Jesus is looking bereft of confidence.
I'd say yes but it was the liner and the ref who shared motm for arsenal that day.Was that the last time those entitled twats beat us?
