Great rollercoaster ride was that, Torres' goal outstanding, the other two weren't bad either. Second string out again next one Pep, but without Garcia.
We all use abbreviations but many are taboo like 'Mou', which imply a friendliness that is never there. CR7 suits a pillock like him but not for City players please mateAfter Xmas Sterling played several games as Captain, as Fern wasn't being selected to start matches, & KDB was out injured.
We won all those matches & Sterling rose to the occasion. It was KDB's return that coincided with RS7's drop in form, & this seems to have led to a loss of footballing confidence.
Before this, RS7 was playing on instinct, now he seems to be thinking about his performances, & those split seconds lead to indecisiveness. How many times have we seen him score a goal in a flash, beat a player in a tight situation to assist a goal or supply a killer pass? However, given time to think, he'll become indecisive & either make the wrong move, or lose the ball whilst thinking what to do next?we are friendly
It's a confidence thing. RS7 needs a break, time to recharge his batteries, & time to get his head straight in time for next season & a shortened pre-season. RS7 will be fine.
It's bad enough the media & racist fans getting on his case just because he dared leaving the Dippers to come to oil money City. He's given us loads since he's been here, it's time we supported him in his time of need. He's a Blue & is one of us. If anyone knows what it's like to be down, it's us City fans.
Disappointed Palmer didnt get 20 mins, and maybe Doyle and Delap should have been on the bench too,not surprised though.Hopefully Brighton might be the opportunity.Anyone else a bit surprised and dissapointed we didnt play some more of our younger up and coming players yesterday.
Vorsprung durch TechnikRS7? Fuck me!

Given his lack of height, it wouldn't surprise me if Pepo develops Nathan into our next Fernandinho or at least back-stop for Rodri.Ake much better overall in the 2nd half.

Garcia was seen as more valuable to us as a backup, considering Laporte's injuries, & Stones' loss of form. Both have been great this season, hence in hindsight we could have taken the money for Garcia.Barca : we’d like to buy Garcia in January for 10 million
City : Sorry, no we can’t.
Barca : 15 million ?
City : No we can’t, we have morals, scruples and ethics. He’s so shit you’ll have to wait for summer, when you can have him for free. A suitable value :O
