Newcastle (H) post match thread

Just read the report in the sunday people
Simon mullock city struggled to beat newcastle and pep looked really unhappy by his body language.then the ratings were.
Eddy 5?
Cancello 8
Stonesc7
Dias 7
Ake 6 ?
Gund 8
Rodri 4?
Silva 5
Kdb 6
Sterling 5
Torres 6
Thought ake was class at least a 7 and eddy 5 rodri 4 very strange.

I saw Dias do that a few times. He#ll be captain by end of season.
What a monumental difference Dias has made - and he's only 23 !!! It's not just the world class pure ability and reading of the game, it's the leadership and organisation - he's making those around him play better. Making others perform is one of the many things Vinnie used to do for us.

Or 'Simon Mullock struggled to draft a clear, concise and honest match report and in his desperation resorted to producing a series of misleading disconnected figments of his limited imagination.'

simon who ? never heard of him, but than again i did myself a great favour about 5 or 6 years ago and stopped buying or reading the press, dont listen to sky, bt, talksport or bbc sports for about the same time. It makes life so much better i watched the game i make my own mind up about what i saw who i thought played well or not. Dont need some drunken hack to tell me what my own eyes saw.

Aguero was offside and sterling’s just wasn’t.
I read on the OS that Sergio was offside - by one layer of skin? Those are breezed over at Anfield and the five second referral to VAR confirms, whereas our three minute referral of a perfectly good goal gets chalked off. Did the guy who upended Sterling actually get a foot on the ball, or a bootlace? I am perhaps too cynical to think that the LotG are applied with remarkable impartiality.
