Newcastle (H) post match thread

Just seen the highlights. Had Sterling or Sergio been clad in scarlet there would have been two pens. Somebody convince me they were not fuckin' penalties. Just had a text from my ERO "Why is that not a pen?" with ref to some incident in the Sheff U box yesterday. They are stonewall at Anfield and particularly The Swamp. Teams are gettiing flim-flammed every fuckin' week!

Apparently Aguero was offside, but, why wasn't Carrol sent off for the elbow on Stones? Just glossed over, but, just imagine if that was one of ours? Straight red, without a doubt. I can just hear the commentary now if that had been Balotelli; red card; ban; no - followed by an extended ban.... and probably deportation.

Totally agree, but I never heard the commentators mention “Contact” which is rolled out every time Kyle Walker touches somebody in the box or “he’s got every right to go down” because a defender had the audacity to be brave enough to make a challenge in the box and there’s a coming together, The Egyptian Tom Daley Penandez & Steptoe have this down to a ‘T’ and the press now call it an Art, it’s fookin cheating, our lads are pathetic at it, especially Raz, never a pen live or with the benefit of VAR, but it’s the VAR slow mo that’s encouraging all this and it’s got Riley & his pigmol cronies dirty little fingers all over it
Not forgetting Sir Harold of Kane in the Fosbury flop stakes.
Great win last night and another clean sheet.

I thought we played well against a side that basically defended and got away with loads of niggly fouls that should have resulted in cards. Bernie has to play on the right with Cancelo. Kev needs to drop back 5 yards to get more of the ball.
the first goal was really special and hardly anyone is mentioning how good it was. Loads of passes and the peach of a ball to Sterling who kept his head. Next match will be tougher but hopefully we can sneak a 1-0 win.
