I reckon they rejected it because the likes of United and Liverpool shit themselves at the thought of more competition. The new PL chief executive was vetted by both of them before being approved after they’d given a no to some other candidates.

I have no sympathy for the barcodes. You reap what you sow. They have been 1 of the quickest to join in fucking us over and signed that letter with the rest of them gobshits. It is no wonder certain teams fight and scrape against us but don’t turn up against other teams. Those 8-9 clubs hate us. Suck it up you Geordie bastards. You will never walk alone...oops

A few people on here and in the media have previously said that the Saudi's are miles behind Abu Dhabi in terms of nouse and business acumen, they tend to do everything in a very ham-fisted, brute force, here's the money way.

I have to say, their attempt to claim the Public Investment Fund (which on it's Saudi Arabian government domain website proudly proclaims itself to be a sovereign wealth fund) has no ties to the Saudi Arabian government really does seem to confirm all that.
