OK mate , still pretty certain you won't ignore the Premier league if we lift the trophy, you're just having an emotional reaction to today's game.

Think we played well enough to draw but the result is our own fault for some piss-poor finishing and allowing Harvey Fucking Barnes to score twice

Said it before the game but we have a very generous run of league fixtures from now until Spurs away on Feb 1st. I expect us to build up some good momentum and if we're within touching distance of Arsenal then who knows...

^^On this point, this supports the point that I was making, that the prevailing thought amongst media and punditry is that the goal should have stood and that Liverpool were undone. This was why I was voicing my concerns about the decision so fellow Blues were aware of this and how it was being viewed around the League. This way when it comes back around we'll be prepared and in a better position.

It’s insane isn’t it.

But at a time when fan apathy for internationals has never been higher, conversely the players seem more motivated than ever before to turn out in meaningless drab games for their countries.

Fuck knows why ? Is it a case of them virtue signalling to the sporting public that they’re not all money grabbing mercenaries and that playing for the love of their country is soooo important to them ?
 
No point in scouseresque whining, we were poor in defence and poor in attack. Got what we deserved. 88th minute we get a corner. It never makes it into the box and 5 seconds later we are defending our own area. And did anyone seriously think bringing on Savinho and Bobb was going to result in an equaliser ? Bring on Tuesday.
