Newcastle United (A) | Post Match thread

I'll take that

Pope played well should be England number 1.

Newcastle were never going to keep up that work rate.

Fair play to Newcastle play well, City looked abit lost and confused. But City began to get it together from about the hour mark.
Not to sure about or defence at times lol.

After Newcastles 3rd I dont remember them get another shot, but still looked dangerous with their pace.

We also need to pass more to haaland but his link up and hold up play is something we have missed. 2nd half he got more of the ball and we played better

Might encourage other teams to attack us that don’t have the same attributes Newcastle have. Bit of a wake up call 1st half for our defence.

Foden shite another chance to square it and he didn’t. Like I said we didn’t have a striker we kept crossing now we have a striker and can’t cross. I also don’t understand the no subs part. Just confusing with Alvarez and mahrez on the bench surely they could have helped
Problem is we have to put a team out for Barca

A point gained rather than 2 lost.

Fuck VAR, it’s so fucking bent it’s untrue and yet again we are in the end of one from the cunts.

There can not be a Blue out there, not happy with a point today after that "Car Crash" first half.

Not going to lie,.....i didn't like that Pep system today. And i think it is the only reason Newcastle got a point from this game.

Bernado has to play in the middle, he is such a gifted player,

Hopefully he will take on board how open it left us at the Back.

Eddie Howe has done a decent job on them. I can see them finishing top 6 this season if they can find consistency
It wouldn’t shock me if Newc didn’t score 3 against another side all season. We were fucking woeful at the back and gifted them chance after chance.

Three games in and in each one of our players has been the victim of a red card challenge. The first two went completely unpunished and when today’s was given it was rescinded by VAR, which couldn’t intervene in the other two. Time for Guardiola to speak out and say that the referees are endangering the players.
Todays one is mental..kieran trippier..who is a great fullback IMO ..had two feet off the ground ..when has that not been a red..great game..glad we salvaged a point...St Maximin..better version of traore at wolves in his pomp..Both of these type of players scare the shit out of us ..pace and power
