Think a draw was the fair result in the end

We were so poor first half and we have seent hat type of performance before when our midfield of Gundo and Rodri get ran all over by aggressive pacey hard working midfielders. ....its what Liverpool use to do to us at times...

Walker, Stones, Rodri had a really poor first half as did Cancello.....Foden had the worst game ive seen him have and infact Bernardo was the only one to come out of the first half with any credit

The second half we gained control and started to play more like ourselves...partly us and partly Newcastle running out of steam a little.
Walker maintained his position better and that nullified ASM.
Rodri and Gundo got more control a they got a bit closser together and Dias was a leader and used his physicallity to help out
KDB excellent assist and great finish from Bernardo
Poachers goal for Haaland ..could have had a second but the defenders just did enough to slow him up and the keeper came out very well

Trippier should have gone in my opinion....dangerous is open to interpritation BUT for me that was dangerous....regardless of whether his studs are down or up a knee high challenge is always dangerous and it was absolutely cynical ......but i guess this is where interprittion of dangerous comes in

Can't win em all and I'm glad it was at least entertaining

Thought we were excellent going forward

Defensively a shambles though, hopefully it's a one-off
 
Awesome match that was, Propar end to end. A point away to Newcastle is a good result I feel this season
 
Midfield was awful today in what was always going to be a cauldron.
Slow and clumbersome.
Great comeback even though the media will be all over Newcastle lauding them to the high heavens for giving us a game
 
Showed a lot of class to turn that round, think we got bullied a bit at the back, and their keeper played a blinder.
Champions don't lose those kind of games and we didn't, haalands best 45mins so far, glimpses of what is to come when he gets up to full pelt, and as a team once we get fitter will improve a lot.
On a side note, you just knew when our third went in on 63 mins? They would waste time right until the end, happens to often, must have had about 10 maybe 15 at the most minutes played after that, the rest was long treatments for players who are not injured and extended substitutions which the ref is supposed to add time on for.
Fair play to the skunks though they won't lose many up there if they play like that
 
Not brilliant but some good stuff played, not seen us so shaky in defence for some time, joelinton got his yellow card at the end as usual, great to come back to 3-3 but felt we had enough to win it in the last part of the game so a bit disappointed overall, onwards to game 4
 
We won’t win them all. Strong result after a bad start. Great job clawing back.
