We have to sacrifice it, unfortunately. The squad looks threadbare and this is fourth on our list of priorities.
I was 16 when I went to that game, I’m now 70
You old git 8-)
You know Colin was a Sunderland fan as a kid…… does it change your opinion?
You have a few years on me, I was my childless uncles excuse for going to the match until he had his own kids. He plonked me on a floodlight so I could watch as I was so young and small.
Still a reasonable chance it could be against a lower league opponent - 14 left as it stands and at least 6 PL clubs will be knocked out this round.Yeah the schedule is poised to clash with our world club cup commitments. quarter final games are due to be played 19/20th december, we play our first world club cup game on the 19th december so the entire first team squad will be in Saudi Arabia for that.
We're all assuming there's no moving that date based on liverpool having to play it a few seasons back but that was a tighter schedule because of covid. However Even if they did let us rearrange a potential quarter final we would still have to play it before the semi finals at the end of January anyway and with the mini winter break which forbids any games between 14th-30th January we would have to play it before then. there's no room to fit it in with the fa cup 3rd round at the start of january.
Mid week break in Geordie Land? ;-)Going tomorrow but not too fussed what team we put out.
Obviously want us to win but trust Pep
League is going to be really really tight this season.
You're by far our best regular none City fan poster mate....with mention to @Vialli98 as well.
Although most of the others are in the ignore bin with a few blues.
Enjoy,up to a point.Mid week break in Geordie Land? ;-)
