That said, I've often voted for him. Kova is developing a nice little relationship with Rodri. He's my pick.

Rodri and Kovacic ran the midfield. All the defence were solid. Ortega made the one save he needed to. Bernardo won at Geordie pinball. What’s not to like?

Kovacic, started the season brilliant, got injured and his form leveled out, but the last month or 2 he's been brilliant. Does nothing spectacular, but does everything well.
