I'm puzzled why your son ISN'T a blue ?
I know surely you've failed as a parent!?
Paqueta, you wanna bet? :-))Mate, I was seriously shitting myself about this match, & seeing the bench turned my shit to diarrhea!
I honestly didn't expect this exemplary professional performance, considering the team were rinsed on Wednesday.
I can't express how pleased I am with what I saw tonight. Newcastle tore Villa a second arsehole last week, & we basically controlled them like a puppet master.
Considering we're far from our best, & struggling for squad numbers, our opposition must be cacking their y-fronts!
Hopefully our injury situation will ease very soon, & we can seal deals for Paqueta & Doku to release some of the impending squad pressure when the CL, Carabao Cup & international breaks kick in.
Spot on . Dominated a good team at a difficult time in the season for us. Thought the atmosphere was good in a tense game and Pep seemed happy enough at the end. Don’t know what people want if they come away disappointed with that?Great performance under the circumstances given the midweek efforts.
Brilliant atmosphere and great celebrations at the start made sure I lost my voice before kick off.
Foden was outstanding but a big nod for Kovacic; he was excellent. He drove the team forward and his ball retention and passing rhythm were up there with Rodri. He was the one making the midfield tick over.
Pep is obviously looking for him to push forward into the position Gundogan was playing and the early signs are really good.
Though Gvardiol looked pretty good too…Ake has serious competition now.
I was surprised there were no subs and Rodri looked absolutely shattered towards the end.
Right Big dirty cunts!Dunno about their fans but I thought their players were right dirty c@nts
That midfield of Rodri, Phil and Kova, with support from Julian and Jack looked fantastic. The team were knackered but Pep clearly wanted the team who had worked so hard to finish the job off, and you could tell how proud he was of them at the end. People who keep writing us off (to be fair that’s usually in here rather than the media) are clueless. Getting 3 points out of that game and seemingly escaping with no injuries from the gbh of howes’s hackers was a great result, well done CityKovacic was class last night. He made the midfield tick, especially in that first half.
But Phil was MOTM. One of his best games in blue and would've had 3 assists on another day.
Having Dias at the back is crucial.
