a lot of folk on here wishing these lot well. probably looking for a bit of solidarity with all the negativity from the media. however, there is a possibility at some point they will come in for one of our guys.

wish them well, by all means; but keep a close eye on those bastards taking our assets.
The only ones who would go there from us would be those looking for one last pay day. Not a chance they will be challenging us for honours any time soon. We are far too well established now for them to be of any concern.

That's football for you. We've done it to other teams so can't exactly complain if it happens to us.

FWIW, I don't think we'll see any hostile bids for our best players - they will be more of an ally than an enemy - but if any of our players are unhappy we could well do some decent business that suits both parties

They will most likely become a rival of ours and we will have to compete with them both on the pitch and on the transfer market. It all depends how well they will be managed , however. Just throwing money on the table is not enough at this point, look at Manure's 1b worth squad that is unable to win trophies still.

Its an interesting situation, because they still have their shit squad till January. so they could be in or around the relegation zone come the January window, which could give a lot of players some pause. I dont think the project can really get going till next season.

Exactly. Which top players would join in January knowing they are in a relegation scrap? I can see them going down.

Good luck to them - I say that with gritted teeth - hopefully this may put an end to the Red Scouse twats resurgence or are they still owed loads from the Coutinho transfer - FSG will be absolutely fuming -

It's the 'We've got our club back'' spiel which is aboard my titties at the moment...you've got your club back? the KSA have bought it with the intent of handing the keys over to the horse punchers?..
Apart from that I say good luck to 'em....may get the monkey off our back for a while..
The good citizens of Hartlepool hung it a few years ago.

So would that be TwitterWashing of which he’s more than happy with?
After all these years it is amazing how gullible people like Delaney are. He still doesn't understand our business model and the reason why the Saudi PIF sees Newcastle as a good investment. This deal is about investing money and making profits just like the one made by Sheikh Mansour for City. Our owner bought City for less than £300m and the club (pre-pandemic) was valued at £2.7bn. He invested another £500m but got all that original money back when he sold a stake to the Chinese and US groups. So he has at least trebled the value of his total investment in City.
As well as this Sheikh Mansour has made around £1bn profit on his property investments in Manchester and a similar amount from his investment in Graphene, developed at Manchester University. He has literally made billions and transformed a significant part of the community in Manchester. And the new Arena is on its way.
Newcastle is a huge investment opportunity. It is a one-club city in a fantastic region with great potential as the UK continues to de-centralise from the overheated London area. Delaney, and those in the press who spout the fake sportswashing narrative, are total morons.

You're giving them far too much credit.
