This sentence from the report sums it up.

"Clubs have already started the process of stopping commercial deals associated with the ownership in an effort to reduce the amount of money Newcastle can spend, for fear it will distort the league."

Yank Dollar good. Saudi Riyal bad.

Is his the bloke that the rags and dips met privately before deciding he was the man to appoint. ?

Further, if/when he goes will the 2 shitehawk clubs be allowed to pick the new man?
He had one job & fucked it up.....they can't even appoint a decent patsy.

In some ways I wish the 'big 4' would just fuck off & do a Super League, hateful bunch of shysters.

Yes, but there is a difference in that Newcastle will have direct access to the Saudi sovereign wealth fund. Still limited, of course by FFP.

Is Hoffman executive or non-executive Chairman? If he is non-executive then surely Masters should be the one resigning. If he is executive, what is the point of Masters?
Masters is there to make sure that the two cheeks of the same arse receive as many favourable decisions as possible.

Richard Masters is the Chief Executive(CEO) of the PL.
Gary Hoffman is/was the Chairman of the PL.

I'm not going to pretend I'm a business expert but as I understand it: The executives handle the day to day, urgent matters. Whereas the board handle the bigger decisions and long term strategies etc.

The Chairman is the head of the board of directors. The higher-ups of the executives.

The CEO his the head of the executive committee.

I think we need to pay close attention to who his replacement will be, if this has been forced by the cartel clubs. Maybe even oppose it, if it's another candidate vetted by United and Liverpool. It could be that they think Masters doesn't have enough control for their liking...

What I don't get is what have the other club's to gain by constantly bending over to be shafted by these tossers?

Me too, every PL club should have complained when Masters was basically appointed by United and Liverpool. Every other PL club should be paying close attention to the next Chairman appointment. Especially after the ESL stunt that those clubs spearheaded.

How is it that two clubs are making decisions that could potentially affect every club? When all clubs are supposed to have an equal say in the PL, from a legal standpoint.
