For a fake outrage like this Newcastle takeover, the Toon Army (so the liberal left script goes) are required to respond with at least a tiny bit of moral indignation and perhaps consider taking their support elsewhere, presumably to Sunderland (though no one actually expects them to do so). When predictably the Geordies don't do anything of the sort, much contrived condemnation and disingenuous tut tutting follows in the media
For the liberal left media it is essential that the Toon army must be publicly shamed. Just like we shame the blokes down the betting office and at the race course (not to mention the Queen) over their lack of condemnation for Sheikh Maktoum, the human rights abusing oligarch who locks up his daughter, but is also the bloke who practically owns Newmarket and props up horse racing (except, of course, we don't shame them).
It's all a case of being seen to be outraged but not actually outraged, for calling for things to be done in the knowledge that nothing will be done. A time for pointing fingers at working class Newcastle United fans, in the knowledge that beIN Sports having been compensated, our government wholehearted supports the takeover, and all this liberal hand wringing is guff.

For the right this faux outrage is more to do with cultural hegemony. Western values and the universal human rights we've constructed are a major component in the west's 21st Century neo-imperialism, our never ending soft power cold war, to ensure that the world is cast in our image and that western values prevail.

Surely it would be better to get in 4 or 5 seasoned quality PL players who will see they comfortably stay up and then build gradually from there
We had a few decent players before the takeover who rose to the challenge. I am not sure that any of the current Newcastle squad fit that profile. The thing is, there's a grey area in that: some players will come purely because of money, some because they'll have a higher chance of getting some trophies (comparing to their current club), some because they will player with better players, etc. and behind all most those (good) reasons, we can't deny that money always play a big role!
And people may move because of "money" motivation, but if the club can bring good coach, good environment, good culture, etc., they people will stick and build up from that as you mentioned. So yeah, "money" is sometimes a good reason for moving too.
Therefore, I think it's no need to concern about "money" motivation, not to concern for other clubs, and not for our club too. It's always a part of our life.
