Emery is a Rafa Benitez clone, but with slightly more attacking play. Gets the best out of mediocre teams using team tactics and ethics.

Not sure who you expect Newcastle to get as their next manager. Who would you go for?

Point of winning the Europa League is not just getting a 2nd hand trophy but also qualifying for the CL. Its looking like youre finding excuses not to rate Unai lol
I dont think he's an elite coach, but he is definitely above average and would be a good option for a club like Newcastle right now.

I’m not sure who he thinks Newcastle can hire as a manager. There aren’t many with better CVs around than Emery.

Compared to the Elephant Man I think almost anyone would be an improvement!

Emery has consistently been excellent in Spain, and in hindsight was probably better than we realised (without ever being spectacular) at Arsenal.

If he survives the drop and gets a bit of backing, I think he'll do well.
