I think the De Jong substitution and pushing Yaya further up may have had more of an impact?

With Aguero, Silva, Tevez and Nasri we can play very effective one touch attacking football which devastates teams.
But with Dzeko and (if we get him) Hazard and Nasri playing in wider, more traditional winger roles we could be just as effective, especially against park the bus teams.

No I was just highlighting the fact that he got himself into the right areas to score. Tevez for all his neat approach play yesterday barely had a sniff at a decent opportunity.

I don't understand the point you are trying to make. I didn't just use that to justify my opinion of his performance.
What if Tevez had stayed on? We could have won 2-0. We could have won 4-0. We could have drew 0-0. We could have lost 1-0.
The fact is Dzeko came on helped in the build up to the first and we won 2-0.
How am I using a what if argument when I'm commenting on facts about the game.
