Great 3 points against a bunch of thugs. How they finished with 11 players is beyond me.
Days like this I wish we had signed someone like Pepe.Retribution would have been had.

Get Andy Morrison in on loan :)

Someone with a mean streak is the only thing missing from this team.It does'nt often matter but days like today.....

We let them push us deeper and deeper after we scored.. We got bullied out of it in lots of areas by what are an overly physical side. We need a steely midfield to combat teams like these away and leave Silva, and Nasri to destroy teams at home..

It should have been a goal. 20 years ago that would have been disallowed. Now it is a goal.

Hart was motm for me. And loving demichelis and kompany together they just commanded the defense. As did kolarov

always had time for Newcastle, but after today I've lost a lot of respect for them. Dirty bastards with a **** of a manager and fans who boo an injured player off the pitch. Wasn't at out greatest but they always say its the sign of champions when you win like that, united did it for years. Lets hope Nasri's injury isn't as bad as we think it is!

Anyone know how serious Toure's injury is?

Also feel really bad for nasri. That could end his season to be honest,as anything around the knee is dangerous.

Overall good performance, and Kolarov was MOTM for me.

Lost my dad yesterday - 83 years a blue. He would have been well happy with that result. Well played boys and thanks for bringing a smile and a tear at the end of a tough weekend. Now go and win the league for him. CTID

A sad loss for you mate, but a game your dad probably wouldn't have liked to see (Not the win, but the way Newcastle played against us.)

He was a bit old school (aka pessimistic!) but took him to the Hull in hospitality and he was made up. It was a great day out (which he was still talking about last week) and after that he was always very positive :)

Thanks for the other kind words folks - didn't want to put a dampener on a great result. A wins a win!!!

Every Championship winning site has luck, think we used a lot today but they kept them out.
How many time can Pardew kickoff, immature class less arse.

We got 'lucky' with the offside goal, sure, though could have gone either way. But not sure why everyone is saying that Newcastle deserved something (not you, btw :-)) . We were poor by our standards, but they had one, perhaps two chances all match - Hart made one great save, and then dealt comfortably with some long-range shots. Nothing more. Final 5-10 minutes, we looked the far more likely to score - Negredo could have had a hat-trick on his own.
