ive always said you could get the entire cast of the wire in the premiership, heres my shout

honestly not sure why Barry has so many supporters for the position. never strikes me as a leader or vocal type. class player, but not a captain IMO.

toure on the other hand, from the evidence of his first few games, is absolutely a leader. he was a monster tonight, very vocal, won everything in the air. just what you want to inspire those around him.

Since Kolo has arrived at City he's been a leader on the field even without the armband.

Kolo is the right choice for captain, he's vocal and is always talking to the players during the match whereas Barry is a top player but he isn't vocal enough

Either, i dont think it matters to much which one as we have plenty of leaders on the pitch these days.

Toure is fine with me, Barry or Ireland as vice-captain. Give Toure the task of organising the back four, which will help Micah, Barry the job of ensuring the others know their jobs. Along with Given booming out orders, could be a very talkative team during the match!

In my honest opinion, Barry is not vocal enough to be captain. He's in the "lead by example" category of captains, but i prefer captains to be organisers. Despite him only just walking through the door, Toure has been commanding everyone, encouraging everyone, bollocking those that need to be bollocked, etc. I think he's a great captain. Barry will no doubt be vice-captain.
