I hope he doesn't just bring someone in, and makes them captain. I know Vincent hasn't been here that long (5+ years), but I think he has a better affinity with the club and fans, and has earned our respect, more than any new signing.

I agree but we need a real leader and if we get one who is quality too i think VK will be vice

Kompany for me. I think he will be one of the first names on the team sheet next season as I don't think we will bring in another centre back. He is intelligent and calm but most importantly seems to encourage other players on the pitch.

I would guess VK just because he has been that good this year and deserves it on merit imo of course. As mentioned before if mancio brings in one of "his" signings then thats the only reason not to make him captain.

Both Vinnie and Nige come over in interviews as great characters and either for me would make a welcome change.
Both lead by example,seem to have the support of the other Players and are 100% committed to the cause of helping City aim for a higher status.
The only thing I would like from either of them is to be a bit more voiciferous on the park.

I think it is too early for Vinnie and if we sign Boateng as we are linked to he has a battle with Toure and Lescott to get into the team.

De Jong at the moment I would love for Mancini to go with as captain he will grow more in the role as captain than other players.

Its a shame as we will not see either as captain as it will be Shay when he is fit to be the new captain of the team.

For me there can only be one captain to lead city to future success Vincent Kompany.

I want an intelligent articulate leader in our team, some body who understands tactics and leadership, Vinnie tics all the right boxes for me.
