I've just got a picture in my head of Barry stood at the front leading the lads out - it feels right. English, always in the middle of the action, you know he commands respect - a top professional, would represent the club brilliantly at functions/media etc. He just seems to tick all the boxes.

Nedum will be captain material in a couple of years.
Stevie is waaay too young & volatile still. Not so long since he lost both his imaginary grandmas.
