Next England Manager...

Wouldn't be surprised if its Beckham.

Me neither.

You can see the FA thinking 'Well it kind of worked with Klinsmann and the players seem to like Maradona and we haven't tried this really because Keegan didn't count and the press will like it...'

Mind you we could do with some out of the box thinking rather than the usual tired suspects

Keegan.
If were gonna leave in the last 16 then let's go out losing 5-4 eh.
And he'd probably shake the formation up a bit.

Actually, in a final act of supreme ineptitude, the FA could just leave Capello in charge...

well, since one of the supposedly top managers in the world did SHITE, if we can't get hodgson, and harry is twitchin in brixton showers, then i'm going to the extreme and say...............shearer.
It worked for germany with klinnsman, no real managerial experience, but took over the germany job, and changed there whole mentality altogether, he is the reason why germany play the way they do now, joachim loew carried on where he left off, and it hasn't done them too badly.

I've heard some people say the exact opposite about the German management duo; personally I like Klinsmann and wouldn't object to his more modern approach and methods, even if when he managed Germany he was still resident in the USA, LOL. Löw got a very good rep from their partnership, and it was no surprise after last time's WC he was the successor to their pairing.

-- Mon Jun 28, 2010 1:54 am --

you've just hit the nail on the head... it's the FA who are completely incompetent and have been without fail.

they should all be replaced - they're totally useless.

(nice article by Holt, a big surprise, about why he thinks England did crap this time around: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion ... 99477.html )

has to be redknapp. always gets the best out of his players. we really need an english manager.
