Bond actors dont really want to leave the part. Where do they go from Bond?
Name one decent film that Connery , Lazenby , Moore , Dalton , Brosnan have been in since. Its a career killing role.

Wasn't Connery in The Untouchables and a gritty little film called The Hill or something?
He was good in both.
The Hill was one of his first films , before he was Bond . The lead in The Untouchables was Kevin Costner. Connery got a honorary Oscar for it , Not a real Oscar.

He had already starred in at least two Bond films before The Hill, and it wasn't a honorary Oscar for The Untouchables it was For Best Supporting Actor which is usually recognised as one of the top 4

Hollywood is essentially gay men pretending to straight men.

I'd prefer a blacked up white guy ala Soul Man as opposed to a black Bond to be honest. It's more in keeping with the theme of theatre, darling.

Its common knowledge that it was a sympathy Oscar because hes a bloody terrible actor . Look at Highlander. What a terrible film. A Frenchman playing a Scot and Scot playing a Spaniard.

Technically he didn't do the casting for the highlander and he was good in it if you ignore the accent

Not saying he's the worlds best but you can't say he didn't go on to other things after Bond.
