This.Infrastructure,trains and all round safety may also have improved by then too.......but right now,our railways aren't fit,and any planned cuts will be detrimental to elements of society,and that is wholly unacceptable.
Introduce change properly and safely,and ensure welfare,not huge profit,is the priority - no one will have argument then.
"Reforms" are about increasing profit not passenger/staff safety.
