Next Rail Strikes Announced.

The cynical, targeted disruption of folk also trying to earn a living and enjoy themselves, who don’t get pay rises but are subject to the same economic strife as railworkers..
Tory divide and rule in action.

Us Brits seems to have a habit of following our masters by punching down and not by supporting each other to improve the life the majority over a super rich tax dodging minority.

Strikes are performed to cause disruption, there would be little point if no inconvenience was caused. And as you have already been informed, this is far more than about pay (which is also piss poor for the majority).
If not for Unions you would not enjoy the rights you currently have in the work place, you need to remember that when you are kicking off.

As we are all in the same boat, no pay rises and subject to the same economic strife, it cannot be said that any particular sector of the public is being targeted. The few who are taking industrial action to try and force their employers to do something that improves their economic strife are losing even more money by taking this action, with no solution in sight. It is ourselves we hurt first and foremost.

I’m far from kicking off mate, I’m just putting my point of view across in a reasoned way, no animosity, no kicking off…
I’m fully aware of the role of unions and what they have achieved in making employers provide a safe working environment with decent pay …
That doesn’t mean I have to agree with every strike or disruption does it??

Moaning because you’ll miss a football match is pathetic though…
It’s not because it’s a football match, it’s because they are being disrupted doing something they want to do.

If it was someone else being affected, it’d be fine.

This isn’t a go at anyone in particular, this is how strikes are received these days.

All as you do is sit on your arses and pull a few levers, maybe blow horn if someone waves at you,but what about when the leaves fall,I mean you know them really horrible nasty leaves........you stop driving then as well..............hahahaha :)

I love you really

Took me 4hrs and three different trains to get back from Birmingham last Saturday when the normal train takes two hours and is a direct service.

I'll be claiming on those tickets and hopefully get some cash back.

Didn't cross my mind to blame RMT members. Blame rests squarely with Cross-country for their shoddy pay and conditions (which I'm guessing are very shite, just from the condition of their rolling stock).

You're a closet train spotter, meesh. Love you too.

Didn't cross my mind to blame Aslef or their drivers. Blame rests squarely with Cross-country for their shoddy pay and conditions (which I'm guessing are very shite, just from the condition of their rolling stock).
Nice of you to say so. (Aslef and the drivers were not involved in any industrial action last Saturday as it goes.)
