To be fair that does make sense. They'll sell way more in other areas than they will in Manchester/England, because the majority of match-going English football fans don't buy the shirt every single year, whereas foreign fans all seem to buy into that.I'm pretty sure that when it comes down to it, both Nike and CFG are more interested in what sells City well in untapped markets than they are on what the small pocket of original fans think.
That doesn't mean the kits aren't shite and completely unrepresentative of City though. Nike can do one.
