I personally think there are two problems.
One being the navy sleeve design, the other being the blue shirt/short with white socks. A combination that has never been used by City before. So, in my opinion, number 1 wouldn't work.
My point is, if Nike was to get the shorts the right colour, the blue and navy shirt would be a little more bearable.

Fuck it i'm in, it looks alright.
I dont think something not ever having been done before is such a biggy for me otherwise we would never have worn blue shorts in our history and seeing that the white socks tips the blue & white mix back to something very equal to kit number 3 ...i'd much prefer the number 1 variation over your given choice of accepting navy blue sleeves...i could never swallow that. Strokes/folks springs to mind.
Are Everton going blue shorts this coming season?
