Next seasons home shirt (allegedly)

I'm actually buying a NYC shirt, it's closer (much closer) to being a Manchester City shirt than this Nike abomination.

Err yeah apart from the badge.

In all seriousness any one over the age of 16 who has a hissy fit about how a football kit looks needs to have a word with themselves.

Actually dont mind the home kit. I believe Melb City will use the same template but what majority white with blue. The new badge is garbage. I get the whole 'respecting history' but they should have done a waaay better job. Melb City easily has the best badge within CFG

Melbourne has the best badge, you must be kidding, it's a total mess

In all seriousness any one who doesn't care about the colours, kit and heritage of the club they support needs to have a word with themselves!

People who say shit like that make me laught – do you sing "come on you blues at matches?" Why if it doesn't matter? Why did the club song say "Blue and white they go together" if it doesn't matter?
Also, why is it ok for people to have a "hissy fit" about the club's badge, but not about the strip it's worn on?

The kit issue for me is far, far more important than changing the club's badge, and the club need to address it!

I still prefer the eagle badge. The new one is already jaded IMO because we've had it before. I was looking for something new if we were moving from the eagle.

The kits are truely awful.

Whoever is making these decisions has no eye for style or is colour blind or both.

These companies like Nike seem to operate on a template/paint bucket fill basis anymore. It just seems so lazy. Oh, for England we use white with, what, blueish sleeves. For France two different blues, etc etc.

I almost think this City shirt would look pretty smart if the paint bucket 2 was white or a slightly different sky blue.

Oh well. Jammed into Nike's template. Like everyone else this year. Hopefully next year will be better.
