With all the info that has been on here over the last few months, it's prepared me for it being an abomination.
Although this is probably an Ali Express version, I'm sure it's the exact same design as the proper kit.
Seeing an actual version of the shirt it's probably not as bad as I was expecting.
Yes it's completely disrespecting our heritage and identity, but the club have been allowing Nike to do that for years, so why would we expect any different now?
Even England allowed Nike to take the piss and give the national team BLUE fucking sleeves. Blue sleeves on an England kit. Bonkers.
Looking on the positives, the badge looks absolutely fantastic. At least that element makes it look like an actual City kit if you look past the sleeves.
Also I think the reaction will be so overwhelmingly negative to the navy blue sleeves, blue shorts and white socks that the club will have to have a kit consultation.
I think they are going to be surprised by the level dissatisfaction with how our history and identity has been fucked around with over the last few years.
After the consultation they'll have no choice but to start taking fan's views seriously and start showing a bit more respect for our views and we'll finally see an end to these ridiculous novelty shorts, socks and sleeves.
