Brilliant, brilliant player. Could be the best in the world once Messi and Ronaldo wane with age. He'll be at Barcelona for at least another 5 or 6 seasons though I think, I don't see us or anyone else signing him. Any rumours are likely initiated by his agent to get himself and the player another big payout.
It's disappointing, given our financial clout, the connections of Txiki, etc and often stated huge ambition that we never seem to go for the true world superstars. It'd be an amazing statement from the club, as well as putting the Gunners, rags and Chelsea back in their boxes if we'd sign one of Neymar, Messi, Bale, Lewandowski or Müller. Really wish we would.

Yep, I agree he's brilliant and I'd rather see him than Messi in City shirt. He has much more to offer in his career than Messi has. But guess that's exactly what Barcelona thinks too and would rather sell Messi than him. It would ease my pain.
