Rather shocked at that reasoning of yours if I'm honest.

You would be equally angry if your father died of a heart attack than if someone had murdered your 2 yo baby? I haven't had either happen in my family thankfully so in that sense I will never understand. Grieving affects everyone differently but I'm pretty certain if my baby had been murdered then playing a game would be the last thing on my mind. I'm not criticising his decision, that's for him to decide but it's not something I cannot imagine doing.
Let's just say I won't hold my breath for a "at least your child wasn't killed" range from Hallmark.

Not really what I'm trying to say, and I'm sure you know that. But carry on.

Well that's how its coming across, and obviously you don't know that.

My first point was that I cannot understand how someone can play a game a couple of days after their son has been murdered. That is it. Whatever anyone else has done and for whatever reason they've done it is their choice.

Re: NFL 2013

I understand what you're trying to say to an extent, I just think its coming across a little cold.

Most certainly not my intention.

Anyway, I hope he can finds peace on the field if that's what he chooses to do. You have to admire American sport stars in this sense.

Re: NFL 2013

His decision to play might have been different if he was still with the mother as obviously he's not the only one affected by this and she would have needed him. I'm not sure if she still might considerig what happened, but have no idea whether the split was amicable etc

Re: NFL 2013

I read that Peterson had only just found out that the kid was his and that he'd never actually met him? Probably explains why he's still playing tonight if true. I doubt he'd be playing if if was his son that he is raising had died.

In other news, I see the Broncos are at 1/80 odds to beat the Jags. Haha.

Edit: 1/150 on paddypower!

just love the red button coverage on sky

and i know the raiders record ain't gonna be too impressive but we're so much more competitive than I thought we'd be

Has Menelik Watson had any game time yet? We don't have Sky and the comp has gone wrong, so I can't watch any NFL tonight.

However, I see the Buccaneers are now 0-5.

They're doing even worse than uncle Malc's British 'franchise'!
