Really good point re the counts. He may as well counted down "3....2....1"Great analysis and I’m not going to argue with any of it.
All I’d add is Baker did an abysmal job with his snap counts yesterday - which is something wholly irrelevant to an injury. We should've had 5-6 penalties drawn if we would've just gone with a hard count more frequently. There were a number of plays where the Steelers were out of their stances or in full stride before the ball was snapped. That also would've helped our tackles because they wouldn't have had to play on their heels against an opponent who was guessing the snap count and beating us off the ball.
Cannot help but think a very good QB would have handled that much better and picked up a few penalties.
Where do you stand on Mayfield, in general?
