I was speaking to some native steelers fans yesterday. The schedule is catching up with them. From here on they are in a good spot - they just need to hit form at the right time. There is almost a feeling that ending the streak helps as they can now focus on just doing what they need to get No1 seed and being in form for the post season.

As others have said they need to run the ball but they can use the games left now to work on things.

Can't be as they're both AFC teams so they can only play each other in the Divisional Championship. But, as @MCFC1993 said above, the Steelers have turned to shit recently. They can't run the ball, they've dropped loads of easy catches the last two games and even the defence doesn't look as frightening as it did earlier.

Even Big Ben looks to be close to the end. He's great in the pocket but lumbers around the field outside it. He even had a number of passes palmed away on Monday night and they were throwing without even getting over the line of scrimmage, let alone getting close to first downs.

Watching them against the Ravens a couple of weeks ago, the Ravens brought on Trace McSorley late in the game and he scrambled/ran for a couple of first downs. I watched McSorley reglalry at Penn State and really didn't think he quite had it in him to be an NFL regular starter but he looked a damn sight better than Roethlisberger, who had opportunities to run the ball himself but runs like he's carrying too much weight, wearing high heels and is severely asthmatic.

Ah ok thanks, have been watching it off and on for the past 15 years and you'd think I'd know that basic fact.

Hope for the Steelers sake that the last game was a blip as have enjoyed watching them.

You think your defence has dropped off? The D-Line has been exceptionally good.

Who's it looking like for the superbowl then? What's your predictions?

Chiefs v Steelers?

I think Chiefs vs Saints.

It's hard to look past the Saints in the NFC for me. 9 game winning streak despite Brees being out injured, Sean Payton just knows how to get it done and the rushing defence is just absurd which makes it hard to see the Vikings doing them over. For some reason I'm not that big on this Packers side, but Rodgers can always take a game away from you so I guess they're second favourite.

The AFC is more interesting. I think the Chiefs will beat the Bills in the conference final.

I happened to watch the Alex Smith documentary in the summer, I'd highly recommend it for any that are not familiar with it. I knew he'd had a bad injury at the time but had no idea just how close he'd come to losing not only his leg but his life. It's quite remarkable to see him come back and doing well.

It better be worth it!!!!!

Disappointing result for the Saints last night, getting beat by the Eagles. Still looking good for the cor the conference though i think.

Taysom Hill isn't really a thrower, jack in the box and a good runner but you're not winning a ring with him at QB imo
