It’s bizarre. Texans potentially end up with no Watson and no bag full of first round picks. Lose lose lose for the Texans.

22 women now. 12 cases. It's escalating in a very Weinstein-y way.

This lawyer sees to be a media whore but also a very serious operator so I've got to think he's vetting them very thoroughly and the stories all follow a chillingly similar pattern.

This would be the biggest scandal the NFL has had for as long as I've followed it. Antonio Brown got suspended for 8 games for sexually assaulting 1 woman. 12? 22? He can't be allowed to come back.

And to think a week ago the only thing people were interested in was which team might get him as a HOF level franchise QB for 15 years.

I’m presuming if true then he’s facing a fairly long spell in jail. Either way, no one will go near a trade now for him and hard to see him playing again for the Texans.

Proving it in criminal court is always going to be very hard when it's essentially a sequence of he said/she said episodes without witnesses. Unless he's managed to incriminate himself explicitly in messages I'm not sure what could happen.

Civil court, on a preponderance of the evidence is much easier, so maybe it will come down to the NFL on whether he comes back or not. The lawyer says he wants a trial, you'd think that would absolutely destroy Watson and everything in Texas courts is public.

Sounds pretty seedy and horrible from what I saw. Massage parlors and spas are what I read where this happened which is mind boggling when you think who he is and the money he has. One thing he will never do is play in Texas again but the NFL hardly have a tough stance on people who have committed horrible crimes. Thinking Vick and Peterson are two that spring to mind.

So, what are people's on the draft so far? Can't say I understand much of NFL but like All or Nothing and watching the Superbowl so who are the big winners/losers so far? Why have Patriots got a new QB when they have Cam Newton already?

You've actually answered that last question. ;-) Jones is a solid fit for the Patriots.

I'm surprised the Bears traded up for Justin Fields, and judging by his reaction so was he. It'll either be a great success and save the management, or we'll be back here again in a few years.
