So, what are people's on the draft so far? Can't say I understand much of NFL but like All or Nothing and watching the Superbowl so who are the big winners/losers so far? Why have Patriots got a new QB when they have Cam Newton already?
Because Newton's arm is shot to pieces.

The Pats and Bears seem to have done a good job getting solid QB's from where they were. Love Fields, think he could be the best from this class in 5/6 years.

Same here, I think Fields is going to be great. For all the hype over Lawrence, I can’t help feel that he’s going to be a bit of a bust. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve never been able to see him as an NFL QB.

Who really knows as I normally think who is the best fit for a team is the best way to evaluate rather who is the best player in the draft.

If Lawrence went to an already established team such as the Ravens or even Niners surrounded by talent I think he would shine but that’s not how the draft parity is meant to operate.

In saying this I do remember Joe Burrow outshining Lawrence in the battle of the QBs in the 2019 college bowl final.

Lions might have another crappy year but adding Penei Sewell is a great move. Helps protect Goff, opens up the run game hopefully for Deandre Swift and puts a long term major player in a place of need. Problem they now have is the rest of the field.

Be two or three years of building with all the 1st round draft picks they have coming in the next two years, but for once i have a glimmer of optimism.

And Lawrence outshone Tua the year before when still a freshman. He has all the attributes to succeed, but I agree, it may not happen immediately in Jacksonville.

So it's decided, Falcons are putting up 40 points a game while giving up 50

I just read the Gaurdian write up of the draft - "quarterback Trevor Lawrence, considered one of the best college prospects in decades". Doesnt every QB get that treatment every year is or is it just me?

They were always taking Pitts to be fair at 4. He'll be a monster.
I'm not against it, the kid is a beast, but we need to address the safety positions. Like emergency stuff.

Hard to turn down a talent like Pitts though
