Sounds like a pretty good deal for the Lions. Add their own high end 1st round pick and they could be doing a lot of good rebuild work.

They have hired a GM with a great track record in the draft so fingers crossed he can continue that. Lions have number 7 overall this year and then 2 first rounders in the following 2 years so have potential to really hit on the draft. Problem they have is this is a total rebuild and stafford was one of the very few pieces they had that was a genuine star player. Defense has to be a priority, but it’s gonna be a few grim years in Detroit I think, though no change there so it can’t get much worse.

Pretty appalling that it looks to be close to a capacity crowd. First thing I have seen in months, the Copa Libertadores was played completely behind doors across South America, with a police presence around the final venue to prevent gatherings.
