NFL 2023-24

So the final game on Sunday (Monday morning UK time) will be Buffalo @ Miami.

Whoever wins clinches the AFC East division and will be #2 seed. Miami already clinched wildcard, but if Buffalo lose, they may not even make the playoffs. They would require a loss by either the Jags or Pittsburgh.

Steelers @ Ravens

on paper, the toughest game the Steelers could have, but Ravens already have #1 seed and a bye, so likely to rest players

Jaguars @ Titans

Would expect a Jags win here

Looks like win or bust for Buffalo, #2 seed or out, quite the scenario! Looked extremely unlikely to even have this chance a few weeks ago though!

Jags lose!!

Buffalo get a wildcard. Not as much riding on the Miami game now, although a win still important as number 2 seed would bring potentially 2 home playoff games!

Less inclined to stay up and watch it now, so I can get a good nights sleep instead!

Not the toughest of divisions, admittedly, but the Texans have done well to go from 13-3-1 to win it 10-7.

Chicago lose in Lambeau, yet again, and go from 3-14 last year to 7-10 this, so progress of sorts, but some major decisions to be taken.

Saturday (Jan. 13)

Sunday (Jan. 14)

Monday (Jan. 15)

Ravens and 49ers with byes.
Happy the Lions have the Rams and Stafford and not the Packers. Feel Stafford who i really like will suit Detroits defense and their defense gives Goff time to throw and use the weapons he has.

Real shame about Sam La Porta who's just been incredible, but hopefully its not as bad an injury as it looked at the time.

We'll see about LaPorta but he's looking doubtful. That will hurt, so will losing Raymond.

The consensus here was that they'd prefer to play the packers (FTP!) and get revenge for Thanksgiving.

The back story with Stafford and Goff will be the headline but the Rams have been playing well. They have a couple of big threat WR's and that's where the Lions have still looked weak the last few weeks. If the defence can get pressure on Stafford they have a great chance, but they need to put up points and can't keep them hanging around.
