NFL 2024-25

Apparently it seems worse than it is as it's not game over. He will end up either in the practice squad which as i understand it is a bit like our modern day u21s or with another NFL team.

He has only just started his NFL career, him making the chiefs squad would be like City signing a Rugby league player pre season and starting him on the wing in the first premier league game.

He can still make it, just needs to train

thats why im not surprised not because he lacks the talent just because hes going up against people who have the same level of athleticism that he does and who have been doing it since they were kids

Don’t want to keep going on about betting and ruining the topic but any of you USA lads who are massively into the NFL feel free to share your player tips per game… rushing, passing, receiving yards etc… Cheers

I am a Washington fan, even though we have a great new QB and coaching staff, we just don't have the depth of talent needed (the OL and Edge rushers are especially worrisome) I can't see us getting a winning season, I think 8 wins max. My money is on Kansas as they have the best QB and know how to win. Dark Horse for me is Chicago
Daniels by all accounts looks the best qb in the draft and has been looking good according to US nfl experts otherwise it looks the same old same old lack of quality. Ertz could be a big player but then again not

I think the issue is always around what position a rugby player would take. Positions in an NFL team are so specialised, you need lightning pace / acceleration to play as a wide receiver or their defensive match ups. And a running back needs a combination of speed and toughness. Both positions also need a deep understanding of how things work with defensive formations and blocking rules. In rugby a good run could be a few feet either way, in NFL its about inches here and there. Tight end could work but you need to be a big unit as well as have all the awareness and ability to get open.

Lewis looks like he has a bit of everything as you expect from a rugby player but just not enough of any one thing. I think his best chance is running back but not at the chiefs.
