That would be the government that we choose
Those general election things, thats what they are all about. Not wokeness, not owning the left or owning the right, not even whether you can eat a bacon butty without looking like a spod, or whether you dance like C3PO.
but choosing real people to make real decisions that affect real people

its the government not me is a bullshit argument in a democracy, we are the government. The fact you are happy to abdicate you responsibility says a lot about your character and morals.

the rest of your argument seems to be they have been screwed over for ages, so fuck em, I am going to let them be screwed over some more

Due to inflation, a pay freeze is actually a pay cut in the real world.

A 1% pay-rise for our NHS staff isn't a pay-rise.

Our NHS staff get paid less (in real terms) than they did 10 years ago.

Our MPs have had multiple pay-rises in that time.

It's utterly shameful. Thank you to everyone who works in the NHS. You're all class. An especially big thank you to the immigrants who've come and carried the NHS for decades whilst getting abused by cunts who only see skin colour and only hear accents.

You all deserve a fair pay rise.
 
So from reading this thread is it true that nurses earn less than a tenner an hour? Surely not? I pay bar staff about that and they haven't spent years studying to do the job!!
Unless I've read it wrong then fuck yeah they deserve a pay rise.

Genuinely staggered by that. I'm surprised there are still so many who go into the profession - I can only guess its because of job satisfaction rather than financial.
