I'd put him in the same category as Alex Henshall who we signed a few seasons back and has never really made an impact on the first team squad. As far as I'm aware he hasn't made any loan moves either? I feel he needs first team football away from the club on a temporary basis if he is to make the step up and Nick Powell would not be immediately influencial for the rags either even if they signed him.

Often when you'd players with "potential" go out on loan a lot it eventually goes too far, and the parent club discovers they aren't good enough

A Crewe season ticket holder gave his opinion on the radio the other day.He said he is very inconsistent,likes to dive and thinks he's already big time......
 
they would be better looking at the right back mat tootle .i have watched him a few times and he is a far better prosoect/
