Unfortunately I am an FOC and I can remember watching him for Benfica (unfortunately when they lost the European cup final to the vermin) and for Portugal. A proper legend pal
 
Pure sprinting speed is overrated. If he's smart and knows how to position himself and manipulate space (like prime Gundo, Rodri, David Silva, Bernardo, etc) then he'll do.

Pep values ball players who can read the game and position themselves correctly over people who are simply 'ball winners' (e.g Caicedo).
 
Can we get as many in before this gruesome run of games please

Fernandinho was 28,4, David Silva 27,9. Also, Bernardo 28,8, Jeremy Doku 30,7. Rodri 29,8.

He will do with his 31,5 ;).

Yeh,you don't need pace to be a top footballer. Another saying i hate,premier proven,when the majority of our top signings weren't

Agree, it’s all about position. Mainoo will need to reach 60mph to cover his deficiencies

Just would have hoped to have someone speedy in the midfield for a change. I believe we need it. Ederson would have been perfect. Doku gets away with it though because of his great acceleration. I remember thinking even last year that it looked way too easy going through our midfield.

If you are big, powerful and strong you don't necessarily need high pace, just enough to get your body always in between the man and the ball

Transfermarkt gets its valuations from their forum. I'm not joking. That's how their valuation system works, some guy on a forum who may or may not have ever heard of the player (and its mostly not), invent a random valuation.
