Hopefully, he'll get some game time in the domestic cups. Maybe some limited time off the bench in "already won" PL games.
doubt he even gets on the bench for the PL without a few injuriesHopefully, he'll get some game time in the domestic cups. Maybe some limited time off the bench in "already won" PL games.
Thought you could put unlimited subs on the bench, provided they're in the 25 man PL squad?doubt he even gets on the bench for the PL without a few injuries
champions league. its 9 in the prem.Thought you could put unlimited subs on the bench, provided they're in the 25 man PL squad?
With a fully fit squad ,yes. Think though most weeks of the season you can expect 2 or 3 injuries.doubt he even gets on the bench for the PL without a few injuries
Maybe, but McAtee is similar to others where if Pep thinks O'Reilly can cover the 6 he may prefer him.maybe, think mcatee will be kept for that role
think we're about here right now..

That's a very valid point, although I'd counter it slightly by saying he's been with us since he started playing football, we play the same way throughout the age groups for this very reason, He's grown up being taught how to play this way and it is all he's ever known so we don't have to erase any bad habits. It's important to remember Rodri wasn't "Rodri" at Nico's age. The things needed for that position come with time and experience (and proper coaching). If anyone can coach a holding midfielder it's Pep. As long as a young player has the mentality and physical profile which Nico does it's possible. Or he may end up in a different position altogether. Clearly a massive talent either way!
