Nico O'Reilly

It's important to remember Rodri wasn't "Rodri" at Nico's age. The things needed for that position come with time and experience (and proper coaching). If anyone can coach a holding midfielder it's Pep. As long as a young player has the mentality and physical profile which Nico does it's possible. Or he may end up in a different position altogether. Clearly a massive talent either way!

That's a very valid point, although I'd counter it slightly by saying he's been with us since he started playing football, we play the same way throughout the age groups for this very reason, He's grown up being taught how to play this way and it is all he's ever known so we don't have to erase any bad habits.

Obviously the youth team coaches aren't Pep and he will naturally improve as he ages. Like you say, big talent but he's currently miles off being involved as anything more than somebody to make up the numbers. Way too premature to be suggesting he will be Rodri's cover.
