Going into the game I thought Pep would choose whichever of he and Stones played better to pair with Laporte for Sunday, but now I'm thinking he may play all three again. Other than Walker I thought our defense looked very solid last night.

So Danny Lowe on the menu?

Wouldn't be shocked, but I'd also guess Pep plans to play him against Newport, so might stick with Walker against Hazard (more careless, but also faster than Danilo). And Walker getting 9 days of rest between Chelsea and Schalke would be very good for him.

An amazing talent - deserves more starting time; but we're deeply talented at CB.

Laporte at makeshift LB - which he's actually very good at - may afford Otters more playing time.

Another lack of concentration leading to a goal and gave the ball away a good few times last night. But generally alright

All on La Porte I'm afraid.

Otamendi did struggle with his passing on that pitch though. Extremely valuable player-can play right side and left side centre half.

Everyone struggled; even Ferna the Great couldn't get to grips with the weight of pass on that sh*tty pitch.

Otta was solid last night. I thought his season was over when he got stomped on (accidentally), but he's made of granite. He chose his moments to drive forward when the opportunity presented itself, but he was quick to get back in shape when it broke down. He made the odd mistake, which can be put down to the pitch, but he wasn't at fault for the goal. That was just a combination of Eric's mistimed header and Eddie's positioning.

Just watched the clip for the goal. Yeah its definitely Laporte at fault. Dun see how you could blame Ota
