True, but he's not a left winger, he's more of an attacking mdifelder who can play on the left. He can go down the line and cross, but he's more likely to cut inside and play one-twos, like Nasri, Silva, Jovetic etc who we already have to play on the left.

Sporting and Benfica have a fair few very promising kids coming through who I hope it is (Andre Gomes, Bruma, Cancelo, Bernardo Silva, Figueredo etc) but if it's a first team player then I'd hope it's Garay. A proper CB who is great on the ball and would really suit our style of play, or Salvio if we really are after a winger to rotate with Navas

I imagine it's all just twitter nonsense though

This is exactly the sort of player he is.

We don't need a left winger to balance Navas out on the eight. It's not the 1990s. There are so many fluid formations we can play to utilise Navas as best we can.
