In my opinion and the way we play Reus would make us the complete package, he should be a primary target.

Spot on, Danamy. Hope we're targeting him, but it doesn't look like we're overly interested in Bundesliga players. We should be looking at Ricardo Rodriguez too.

I don't want to sell Dzeko at all this summer as we wont get a better second choice striker who will guarantee us the 20-25 goals a season in all competitions we need, plus, if anything, the amount of important goals Edin has scored for us will be remembered more than his strike rate.

I think Reus could come in and rotate with Silva and Nasri just like I have said with Fabregas but paying 50-60m for Reus when he is up for grabs at 35m next summer it wouldn't be the best deal.

I could see the squad sustaining both, because our left side is pretty weak, especially since Scott Sinclair turned out to be... well, Scott Sinclair. We've been missing another left-sided attacker for a while (Balotelli could also play out there) and Jovetic is better in the centre. Wouldn't be good for Lopes' immediate chances though, as this seemed one of the few potential openings for him into the first team squad.

Assuming Pele's going to keep the 2 up front then we would have 5 players battling for 2 positions.(Nasri, Navas, Silva, Milner and Gaitan)

Posted on the 9th May after a Dzeko double puts us in contention to win the league... again!

I will never understand the mentality of certain City fans.

In fact it reminds me of all the slating The Goat got when Anelka and Fowler were available. No matter what Goater did, the other strikers were better and it was time to sell The Goat.

Yet, it was The Goat that always came up good, for us, when we needed it. A vital goal or two, here and there, to keep us going forward. Dzeko is this generation's Goater.

Players may change, but the fans stay the same...

Dzeko is hardly a guaranteed 20-25 goal a season striker this is the first season to my knowledge he has got over 20 for us! Don't judge a striker on his last game cause it is impossible to compare if Negredo started we could have score more or earlier you never know. Gaitan is a good player and would be a very decent squad player but think he would cost a fortune.
